Order in All Things
I am working to become more efficient in my studio. The first thing I have implemented is to clean up as I go. In the past I have worked on projects and then kindly pushed the supplies aside and let them accumulate. Pretty soon I would have a fraction of the workspace I needed to complete a project. I would then have a big, time consuming mess to clean up. I now clean up after each project and it works so much better for me. I come down to my workspace and it is ready to go for me. It starts my day off fresh. Give it a try! I think you will like it.
In order to accomplish this first implementation, I knew I needed to make sure each item had its own place. Kind of like making sure you put your car keys in the same place every time you are done using them so you don't have to search the house for them. By organizing my supplies, I can go right to them and use them instead of looking through the piled up supplies of past projects. This has saved me so much time and frustration.
It has been successful for me to do this in order to grow my business as efficiently as possible. I'm going to continue to find better ways to do things so I can work on my art seamlessly. I love peace in my studio and this has helped bring it there.
Happy Painting! Hugs.
