My work is rooted in joy, gratitude, and a deep love for the created world. I believe this life—and the beauty within it—is a gift from a loving, Heavenly Father, and creating is one way I strive to show my gratitude.

I paint on custom wood surfaces, canvas, furniture, bottles, and home decor items because art is meant to be lived with. I’m drawn first to mood and materials, allowing texture, age, and feeling to guide the process rather than a fixed plan. Each piece grows intuitively, shaped by what already exists and what wants to emerge.

Joy is my intention. I hope my work feels welcoming, warm, and generous—something that lifts the spirit and quietly serves those who encounter it. I’m inspired by nature, by the goodness I see in people, and by the everyday beauty found in homes and shared spaces.

I hope my art creates beauty that honors the world as it was made and invites others to delight in it. I have been painting for over 35 years.  I have taught classes for 25 years and it is my passion.   I love to create one-of-a-kind works of art.
