Fast Drying Glaze Medium is a matte transparent acrylic glazing medium with various uses. Use alone or in conjunction with Chroma’s Jo Sonja Artists’ and Background Colors. Apply as a light sealer prior to painting or texturing. Create smooth basecoats by mixing with base color. Use as a general painting medium for floating, glazing and other transparent effects.
Directions:
• As a sealer, apply Fast Drying Glaze Medium undiluted to clean, dry surface using a brush suitable to surface size.
• Use as a general painting medium when transparent color is desired. For glazing or floated color, dress brush in Fast Drying Glaze Medium. Blend on the palette before side
loading with color. Blend to soften color and apply to surface to deepen values and enhance colors. Due to the fast drying qualities of the medium, multiple transparencies of color can be applied to a surface without being subjected to long drying times in between colors.
• For strokework, linework an detail painting, dress brush in Fast Drying Glaze Medium and blend well on the palette to create smooth, consistent flowing strokes while maintaining the color intensity of the paint.
